What to Expect from Your Appointment?

At your appointment, one of Dr. Payman’s qualified assistants will guide you to your room and prepare you for your consultation with Dr. Payman. She will listen to your goals and use her expertise to recommend a unique treatment plan tailored to you.

After consulting with our Board-Certified Physician, Dr. Payman, her assistants review the payment options. Once you are comfortable with your treatment plan, you can choose to do your Botox treatment the same day or to schedule it for a later date. You can expect the whole experience to take at least 30 minutes of your time.

What to Expect After Your Botox Injections

It can take up to 2 weeks for the full effects to be felt. A small, fine bump and a little redness are expected immediately after your treatment. You must avoid touching the injection site for at least 6 hours post-treatment.

Strenuous activity should be avoided for the first 48 hours following your treatment. Patients may be able to return to work or their daily activities immediately after they leave Derm Clinic MD.

Dysport vs. Botox

Both Dysport and Botox are popular injectables that use botulinum toxin type A to relax muscles and smooth fine lines. While they work in similar ways, there are a few key differences. Dysport tends to spread slightly more, making it a good choice for treating larger areas, such as the forehead. However, Botox offers more precise control for smaller areas, such as around the eyes or mouth. Some people notice Dysport results appearing a bit sooner, within a few days, while Botox may take a slightly longer time. What is the downtime after Botox injections?

There is no downtime. You may have some mild redness at the injection site, but many patients get their injections during their lunch hour or after work.

What are the ingredients in Botox?
